- Loading screens will be based off of sketched technical drawings of the party members' different weapons, broken apart and labelled "Fig 1", etc., sketched out on paper. This ranges from water guns, a chemistry set/flasks, a baseball bat, etc.
- By visiting certain restaurants with your friends, you'll get the idea to cook a certain recipe on your own. You can cook the recipe in the lab kitchen alongside your friends and identify their favorite foods to boost resilience in battle.
- There's a pair of culinary vlogging influencers conveniently on vacation in the beach town you're studying in. You can often spot them touring restaurants and they'll "love to collab with you", if you can show them you've gained enough knowledge. (In cooking, actual recipe cards will be given, but you'll need to select the correct options from memory, roughly.)
- In exploring the town, you'll be able to "scan" using your smart watch to determine small pockets of "wavelengths gone wild". There will be small "portals" to individual levels, challenges, or mini dungeons. By completing a few of a set theme, you'll then be able to enter the primary dungeon with the boss for that chapter. Ex, a strong signal near a seafood restaurant may yield a level/dungeon"ette" related to, well, fish, in some way. Exciting!
- A trolley car travels in tracks along the main road of the island/cape down to the lighthouse to serve as fast travel. If you visit every station, something good may happen...
- You'll be able to buy new watchbands that change the menu color and texture when either Connie "herself" (digital watch face (literally, a FACE) companion) or friends message you throughout the day.
- Gargoyles can experience fatigue or exhaustion the longer they spend in Half Life, in regular missions, or what have you. Too much exposure at particularly stressful times can lead them to ultimately slip into a comatose state (similar to gargoyles turning to stone in our own folklore). While they initially think only the gargoyles can "comatose" like this (Don't have a quirky in universe term to use, yet) it ultimately happens to the protagonist and his friend as well, also in the research group. This is when you can go in and "rescue" them. Exercise and working out etc. can bolster your resilience and abilities more, in canon. Don't have a functional application for this yet.
- streetnames in game are named after different plants, symbolizing the main characters in some way. Perhaps a plant native to their country/area, what conditions it grows in, etc. "Everyone ends up different, their growth looks different, produce different fruits, etc." as a message.
